Leka Warm Roof

The LEKA warm roof has been designed and engineered to offer you so much more than a traditional conservatory roof can offer.

It is a truly lightweight tiled conservatory roof with an overall U-Value of just 0.15 W/m2K. The LEKA system utilises GRP (Glass reinforced Plastic) for the main structures opposed to aluminium or timber. GRP is lighter than alternative materials but is also, not susceptible to issues such as thermal bridging, moisture absorption or rotting. This makes the LEKA warm roof one of the most lightweight and energy efficient roofs on the market today and offers the perfect balance between energy efficiency and comfortable living.

The roof is engineered and installed in layers offering the ultimate in energy efficiency. Not only will this offer savings on your energy bills but will help reduce your carbon footprint. And you will notice you have a quieter room too thanks to the improved insulation that the LEKA Warm Roof offers.

There are 2 types of light weight tile available to be used with the Leka system:

  • Metrotiles – a pressed steel sheet tile coated and textured to resemble standard concrete tiles without the weight and available in a range of colours to compliment your house.
  • Tapco slate – A composite tile made from resin bonded, crushed virgin Dolomite limestone, Tapco Slate has the random texture and edges of natural slate but much lighter. Available in a range of colours sympathetic to real slate.

The Leka roof system has been fully tested and approved by LABC (Local Authority Building Control), meaning it complies with thermal and structural standards and has also been system pre-approved for building regulations with Jhai the building control service.
